Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Swanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Jonathan Banks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Swanson! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banks throws a hook to the side of Swanson's head but Swanson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Swanson avoids the body shot from Banks.
Swanson's coach down at English Top Team - THE Hybrid Gym (11 ELITE ) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Swanson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. No luck with that takedown attempt from Swanson. Banks thows a left - swing and a miss! Banks fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Swanson manages to avoid it. Banks lands a nice shot to the body.
Banks cracks Swanson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Banks tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Swanson was well out of range. Poor timing from Banks. Swanson let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Horrible takedown attempt by Swanson or perhaps it was just good defense by Banks, which made it look bad. Banks's corner calls for a 1-2. Banks obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Banks lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. No luck with that takedown attempt from Swanson. Jonathan Banks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Swanson. Swanson goes for a double leg but Banks avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Banks continues to drive forward. Swanson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Banks feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Swanson sprawling to the canvas! Swanson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Banks finish him?!
Swanson is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Swanson switches off momentarily and Banks cracks him with a monster right hand! Swanson topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Banks dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Banks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jonathan Banks!
