Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Better Dead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randall Wickam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dead kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Death March - Motionless in White. Better Dead has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Better Dead!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Randall Wickam!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dead lands a body shot.
Dead lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Dead lands a nice looking body shot.
Wickam swings for the body but Dead moves out of range.
Dead rushes Wickam and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Our sources have told us that Dead has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Dead breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wickam shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dead manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Wickam throws a big right hand that misses.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wickam accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Dead seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Dead scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Dead catches Wickam with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Dead moves into the clinch.
Wickam tries for a takedown but Dead manages to get underhooks.
Dead breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dead lands with a right hand.
Wickam is rocked!
Wickam circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Dead. Wickam falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Dead!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Better Dead!
Better Dead very nearly forgot to thank Voodoo Nutrition amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
