Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cory Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Will Wilson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cory Patterson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Will Wilson! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patterson finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Wilson tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Wilson closes the distance and clinches. Wilson wants to get back to striking at distance but Patterson won't allow it.
Wilson stops a takedown attempt from Patterson.
Patterson turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Patterson manages to end up in side control. Wilson is looking to get back to his feet here but Patterson is keeping cool and he's managed to take Wilson's back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Patterson is persistently looking for the submission but Wilson is defending it well.
Patterson is hanging on to Wilson's back as he tries to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Patterson lands a shot to the head. Patterson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Patterson working for the choke. Can Wilson hold on?! Patterson is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Wilson trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Patterson is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Wilson has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Patterson is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Wilson up.
Patterson biding his time, looking for the opening.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilson is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Wilson looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Wilson wants to escape the position.
Patterson connects with a big shot to the side of Wilson's head.
Patterson scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Wilson is looking for a way out. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Patterson is not going to allow Wilson to sit and survive in this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Patterson has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Wilson! Can he survive? No! He's out! Patterson gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
