Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tim Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mongolia Heed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hansen comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - Big Gun. Heed has chosen Gentlelman as his entrance music. Mongolia Heed has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tim Hansen's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tim Hansen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 36 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mongolia Heed! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hansen tries to bum rush Heed with a series of wild strikes but Heed uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Heed shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hansen sprawls well. Hansen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Heed gets slowly back to his feet. Hansen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Heed has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Heed blocks a head kick by Hansen.
Hansen looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Hansen misses with a double jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Donk. Hansen catches Heed right on the button with a cross. Hansen looks to land a combination but Heed avoids it well. Hansen throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Heed looks like he wants to counter punch here. Hansen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
That's one minute gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Hansen.
Hansen throws a head kick that half lands.
Tim Hansen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Heed shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hansen sprawls well. Hansen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Heed gets slowly back to his feet. Hansen lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Hansen tries to bum rush Heed with a series of wild strikes but Heed uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Heed changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. A head kick by Hansen misses and Heed counters with a nice double leg into guard. Heed throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hansen works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Heed throwing strikes but missing. Heed with a flurry of punches that miss. Heed throws a big elbow that misses. Heed must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hansen working a defensive guard here.
Heed pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hansen is keeping the position for now. Hansen managing to control the position. Hansen manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hansen lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hansen in particular looking to stall. Heed avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hansen. Hansen not doing much here.
Hansen's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Hansen continues to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Heed taking some punishment here, with Hansen in his half guard. Hansen looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Hansen looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Hansen not landing any meaningful shots this time. Hansen performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tim Hansen dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Heed fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hansen avoids it really well and circles away. A big head kick from Hansen and Heed is sent sprawling to the canvas!

It looks like Mongolia Heed has been cut. Hansen arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Heed's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
