The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stroya lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Daross at a distance.
Stroya walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Daross throws a poor cross that misses
and Stroya counters with a leg kick.
Hendrik Daross seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stroya looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Daross is fending him off so far but Stroya persists. Nope, Daross circles away and we're back to standing.
Daross takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

It looks like Hendrik Daross has been cut.
Stroya takes the fight into the clinch.

and Stroya counters with a good low kick that Daross was not able to check.

Daross goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Stroya takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Stroya seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Daross fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Daross misses with a lunging right hand
and Stroya counters with a leg kick.
Stroya keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Daross tries to land a body kick
and Stroya counters with a series of strikes that sends Daross to the canvas! Stroya follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
Daross is rocked!
Stroya loads up on a big left hand. Daross felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Stroya looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Daross can't hide his disappointment, as Stroya celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dee Stroya!
A relieved looking Dee Stroya thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
