Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mighty Manlet! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Trailer Park! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Park misses with a hook. Park tries to land a body kick and Manlet counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Park trying to keep a closed guard but Manlet is proving a slippery customer.
Manlet is stalling in the full guard. Park trying to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Manlet has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Manlet might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Park wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Manlet is now in half guard. Manlet looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Park is trying to maintain the position but Manlet is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Park throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Manlet counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Manlet looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Park trying to hold on to Manlet's head to control him but Manlet postures up.
Park is trying to control but Manlet passes into side control!
Manlet controls the position from side control. Park struggling a bit here. Park tries to buck Manlet off but Manlet is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Manlet takes a little break here. Park wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Manlet working away. Park is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Manlet just content to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Park can't do much from the bottom here.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Park misses with an uppercut
and Manlet counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Manlet. Park looking to control but Manlet passes into half guard.
Park is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Park is trying is best to control the position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mighty Manlet dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Park lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Park, right into the meat.
Manlet avoids the body shot from Park.
Manlet drops down looking for a counter takedown but Park sprawls and moves away. Park feints and then cracks Manlet's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Manlet down. Park misses with a kick to the body and Manlet counters with a nice double leg into side control. Park won't be happy with that. Park is trying to control Manlet's posture but Manlet avoids it. Park tries to bench press Manlet off him but Manlet keeps the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Manlet tries to advance to mount but Park denies him. Park is looking to regain half guard here but Manlet keeps moving and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Manlet tries to move into full mount but can't pass Park's legs. Park tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Manlet tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Park tries to reverse the position but Manlet maintains control. Manlet controlling the position easily from mount. Park tries to hold on but Manlet postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Manlet tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Park can't escape the position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Park wants to hold on but Manlet pushes him away. Manlet looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Park tries to lock up and control but Manlet gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Park working to try and regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Manlet takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mighty Manlet dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Park lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Park misses with a right hand and Manlet counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Manlet. Park has control of Manlet's left arm, preventing Manlet from doing any damage. Park looking to control.
Park is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. A low kick from Park misses and Manlet decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Park's guard. Trailer Park has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mighty Manlet is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Park is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Manlet passes Park's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Manlet content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Park wants to improve his position but Manlet is controlling well.
Well, if Manlet is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Manlet moves into full mount! Park won't be happy about that! Park is working to get back to half guard.
Park tries to hold on but Manlet postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Park can't escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Park wants to hold on but Manlet pushes him away. Manlet is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Park can do to turn this around? Manlet controlling the pace for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Park tries to reverse the position but Manlet maintains control.
And that's the end of the fight! Mighty Manlet showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Manlet, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
