Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Buster Knott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knott comes to the cage accompanied by Kanye West vs. The xx - Touch The Sky (Carlos Serrano Mix) . The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Buster Knott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jake Young!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Knott drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Knott trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Knott has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Knott throws a big right hand that misses.
Knott connects with a couple of short punches.
Young has momentary wrist control but Knott slips an elbow through the middle.
Young wants to stand and escape but Knott is having none of it.
Knott keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Young's head.
Knott not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Our spies down at at Canadian Dragon MMA inform us that Young has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Young really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Knott. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Knott postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Young is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Knott is controlling him.

Knott stands and throws Young's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Knott controls the position from side control.
Young is working to avoid the ground and pound but Knott connects with a decent elbow.

The ground and pound from Knott seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Young is being controlled here.
Knott postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Knott is putting a hurting on Young here, landing some big shots from side control.
Knott lands a decent elbow from side control.
Young takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Young parries the strikes from Knott easily there. Knott is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Young to escape.
A lull in the action here as Knott stalls from top position.

Knott tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Knott has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Knott tries to score with some ground and pound. Young controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Knott lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Young doesn't manage to clinch there - Knott circles away.
Young is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Knott looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Young looks for a takedown but Knott sprawls well.

Knott is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Young can do to turn this around?

Knott breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Knott bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Knott has hold of Young's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Young tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Knott cranks the arm and Young screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Young, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Buster Knott!
