Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mingi Tyyp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mingi Tyyp! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Dux! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dux fails to land with a series of punches.
Tyyp misses with an uppercut. Dux lands a two punch combo.
Tyyp with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! A punch combination from Dux misses. Tyyp throws a head kick that misses. Dux throws a nice looking combination but Tyyp bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Tyyp went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Tyyp throws a sloppy head kick and Dux moves out of range easily. Dux takes one to the side of the head.
Tyyp misses with a wild combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dux looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dux blocks a head kick by Tyyp.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tyyp looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Dux pushes Tyyp up against the cage in a clinch. I was talking to Tyyp's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Tyyp is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Dux is defending well for now. Tyyp using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Dux has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Dux's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Dux has had enough of the clinch but Tyyp keeps him there for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tyyp digs a right hand underneath Dux's ribcage. Dux let out a lung full of air as it connected. Tyyp lands a shoulder strike. Tyyp with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Dux gets control of Tyyp's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dux will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Tyyp wants to control from the top but Dux keeps moving. Tyyp trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dux has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Tyyp should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Dux has tightened it up now! Tyyp should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
