Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Tripplet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Will Westernfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruce Tripplet! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leon Will Westernfield! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksandr Martynov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Westernfield with a lazy takedown attempt and Tripplet counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Westernfield is looking for a takedown. Tripplet gets underhooks to prevent Westernfield's takedown attempt.
Bruce Tripplet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leon Will Westernfield. Tripplet lands a right hand. Tripplet lands with a right to the head. Westernfield is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Tripplet pulls him back up using the underhooks. Westernfield drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tripplet gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Tripplet working some nice short punches in the clinch. Tripplet lands a shot to the body. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Westernfield has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Westernfield is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Tripplet just misses with a elbow thrown towards Westernfield's brow. Tripplet leaning his opponent against the cage. Tripplet lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Westernfield backwards. Tripplet cracks Westernfield with a nice body shot. Tripplet misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Westernfield.

That's one minute gone in the round. Westernfield is looking to take this one to the mat. Westernfield looks winded! A nice right hand lands inside from Tripplet. Tripplet prevents the takedown attempt.
Tripplet's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Tripplet throws a good cross that connects.
Tripplet circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Westernfield to the canvas! Westernfield doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Tripplet keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce Tripplet! Bruce Tripplet retains his featherweight title! Post fight, Bruce Tripplet took to the microphone: 'I want to thank my family and friends and my trainers and my sponsor Voodoo Nutrition. Its been a uphill battle but this title will not leave my waist. I worked too hard for this. I love my life right now'.
