Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Simon Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Morgan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sherry Monocle. Tyson Pain acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Simon Morgan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tyson Pain! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Morgan as Pain shoots in. Morgan leaves Pain with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Pain darts in looking for a takedown but Morgan gets double underhooks and turns Pain into the cage. Simon Morgan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyson Pain. Morgan throws the kick towards the body but Pain avoids it. Morgan just misses with a punch to the body.
Pain shoots in for a takedown but Morgan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Morgan fails to land with a series of punches.
Morgan lands a head shot. Pain goes for a double leg but Morgan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Morgan continues to drive forward. Pain avoids the head kick by Morgan.
Pain changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Pain misses with a takedown attempt - Morgan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A punch combination from Morgan misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pain fails with a takedown attempt. Nice defenses there by Pain. Morgan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Morgan stuffs the takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pain fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Morgan avoids it really well and circles away. Pain looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A solid body kick from Morgan. Pain goes for a double leg but Morgan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Morgan continues to drive forward. We've been told by Morgan's head coaches at English Top Team - THE Hybrid Gym (11 ELITE ) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Pain fails with the takedown. Pain closes this distance looking for a takedown but Morgan circles away. Pain keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Pain shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Morgan as he avoids it easily. Morgan misses with a series of wild punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Pain with a poor takedown and Morgan counters with a straight right hand. Pain on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Nice body punch from Morgan. Pain looks winded! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Morgan jabs at Pain's body. Pain shoots in for a takedown but Morgan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Pain has a takedown stuffed. Pain shoots in looking for a takedown but Morgan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pain's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Morgan throws a big counter combination but Pain scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Morgan lands a jab. Nice sprawl there from Morgan as Pain shoots in. Pain takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Morgan lands a big head kick that sends Pain tumbling to the mat! Morgan takes a step backwards and waves Pain back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Pain is rocked! Pain backs away from a small jab... but Morgan lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Pain crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Morgan with a spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Simon Morgan! Our winner, Simon Morgan, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
