Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kirk Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 20 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kirk Hall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel Ramos!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Columbo Gatti and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ramos gets the takedown into side control.

Hall throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Ramos shoots in but Hall avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hall lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ramos backs up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hall slaps away a takedown attempt from Ramos, before circling back to the center of the mat.
We've been hearing reports that Hall has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ramos.
Kirk Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Ramos.

Ramos feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hall sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ramos's guard.

Hall is nestled in close to Ramos, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Ramos dives in and scores a takedown into Hall's guard.

That's time! Hall's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Hall swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ramos tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hall defends well and Ramos ends up having to push Hall into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Hall batters Ramos with a massive right followed by a huge left! Ramos is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Hall lands a final crushing right hand to drop Ramos to the mat with a gruesome thud! Hall is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kirk Hall!
