Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jai Setright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bittor Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Setright comes to the cage accompanied by The Dagger. Xavier has chosen Jane's Addiction- Mountain Song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jai Setright! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
37 - 40 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bittor Xavier! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Setright drives through and clinches with Xavier against the cage.
A knee to the head by Setright.
Xavier has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Setright after a bit of a struggle. Setright tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Setright connects with a knee to the head.
Setright throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Xavier blocks it with crossed arms. Setright lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Xavier or not. Setright gets underhooks to prevent Xavier's takedown attempt.
Setright unloads a knee to the mid-section. Xavier looks winded! Setright lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Bittor Xavier has been cut. Setright scores with a nice hook to the head. Setright breaks from the clinch.
Setright lands a left and a right that send Xavier crashing to the mat, dazed. Setright thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! This has been an exciting period of action! Setright throws a sloppy head kick and Xavier moves out of range easily. A slapping leg kick lands for Setright.
Setright fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Setright looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Setright closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Setright misses with an elbow over the top. Xavier takes a knee right on the jaw!

Setright tries a knee to the head but Xavier blocks it.
A short right from Setright on the inside. Setright breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Setright fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Xavier. Xavier tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Setright swivels and escapes. Jai Setright has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bittor Xavier. Setright thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Xavier if he has to take too many more of those.
Jai Setright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Setright scores with a jab. Setright has taken the fight to the clinch.
Xavier has a couple of punches blocked by Setright.
Xavier lands on the inside with an uppercut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Xavier blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Xavier misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Setright.
Setright manages to break the clinch.
Xavier fails with the takedown letting Setright counter with a right hand. Setright batters Xavier with a massive right followed by a huge left! Xavier is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Setright lands a final crushing right hand to drop Xavier to the mat with a gruesome thud! Setright is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jai Setright! During a confident post fight interview, Jai Setright thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
