Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Duffy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alex Brown!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Brown throws an elbow but Duffy slips to the side and avoids it well.

Duffy lands with a kick to the temple. Brown shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Duffy moves in looking to clinch but Brown pushes him off.

Brown breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Duffy fails with an attempt to clinch.
Duffy pushes Brown away with a front kick.
Crunch! Duffy slams his shin into Brown's torso.
Duffy feints a jab promting Brown to slip. Duffy then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Brown slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Alex Brown has been cut.

Brown tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Brown dives in and grabs Duffy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Duffy pushes down on Brown's head and hops out.
Duffy fails in his attempt to clinch.
Duffy tries to clinch up but Brown circles away and keeps his distance.
Duffy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Brown, pushing him back against the cage.
Duffy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Duffy moves into range and clinches up with Brown.
Brown is trying to pull guard but Duffy turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

A right-left combo lands from Duffy.
Duffy tries to clinch up but Brown circles away and keeps his distance.
Both fighters circling a little - Duffy finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Brown fails with the takedown.
Duffy was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Duffy shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Brown eats them both and turns towards Duffy to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Duffy definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Duffy tries to close the distance and clinch but Brown swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Brown dives in for a single leg takedown but Duffy sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Duffy lands a left and a right that send Brown crashing to the mat, dazed. Duffy thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

In his post fight interview, Anthony Duffy started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
