The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson throws a shot from downtown. Utley moves away and avoids it.
Anderson thumps Utley with a low kick.
Utley checks a low kick from Anderson.
Anderson throws a hook to the side of Utley's head but Utley sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Utley throws a head kick but Anderson moves out of range.
Anderson scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Utley fails in his attempt to clinch.
Utley tries to clinch but Anderson is having none of it.
Utley on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Anderson. Anderson obviously looking to wear him down.

Utley raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Utley avoids the head kick by Anderson.
Utley throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Anderson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Utley.

Anderson keeps Utley at a distance using the push kick.

Anderson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Utley. That did some damage!
Anderson clobbers Utley with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Utley takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Utley chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Anderson can pounce on him.

A solid leg kick lands there for Anderson.
Anderson stuns Utley with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Utley tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Anderson.
Utley looks winded!
Nice uppercut there from Anderson.
Good leg kick by Anderson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Anderson lands with a thumping leg kick.
Brownie Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anderson is looking to land body kicks.
Utley throws a sloppy head kick
and Anderson counters with a good, hard body kick but Utley shrugs it off.
Anderson feints and then cracks Utley's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Utley down.
Anderson scores with a spinning back kick!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Utley takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Anderson lands a leg kick that knocks Utley off balance momentarily.
Utley takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Anderson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Utley.
Anderson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Utley's head backwards.
You can see that Utley has visibly slowed down as a result of the leg kicks
Anderson thuds his shin into the meat of Utley's side.

A slapping leg kick lands for Anderson.
Anderson cracks the inside of Utley's front leg.
Utley takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Anderson fakes the leg kick and cracks Utley in the body.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Utley looks to clinch
and Anderson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Anderson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Utley can do to turn this around?
Utley pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Utley's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
and Anderson counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Utley! He's just covering up as Anderson starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

In his post fight interview, Brownie Anderson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
