Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Davola! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenji Sato! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Dean Styles and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sato looks to land a left hand but Davola moved out of range nicely. Davola feinted there with a counter leg kick. Sato misses with a wild combination.
Davola lands with an overhand left. Davola keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sato. Davola is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sato. Davola does a little dance to reset his feet. A big left from Sato misses. Sato throws a shot to the body.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sato throws a big shot that misses. Davola is looking to counter the offense by Sato and move into the clinch. Davola pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sato! But no joy. Davola lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sato throws a front kick aimed at Davola's knee but Davola avoids it well. Nice uppercut there from Davola.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jab from Davola. Davola uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sato. Davola slips a straight right by Sato. Davola swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Davola loads up on a big right hand but Sato slips the punch. Davola has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Davola there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Joe Davola has been cut. Sato tries a head kick but it misses.
Sato digs a good body shot into Davola's ribs. Sato explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. A jab lands there for Sato. Sato closes the distance and clinches. Davola throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Sato wants to get back to striking at distance but Davola won't allow it.
Sato wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Davola stalls. Sato breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davola misses with a right hand and Davola takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sato jabs Davola to the body, keeping him at a distance. Sato scores with a body shot.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Davola crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sato - the referee stops the clock and Davola gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sato. Davola manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Sato throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sato punishes Davola's body with a nice straight punch. Davola throws a body kick despite being completely out of range enabling Sato to counter with a crisp jab.
Davola is rocked! Sato ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Davola out cold! The fight is over!
