Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

That was a close round but I would say that Eddie Killer will probably get the nod.

Killer drops Maximus with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Maximus looks back up at him and smiles so Killer waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like DJ Maximus has been cut.
Maximus stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Killer.
Killer misses with a right hand
and Maximus connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Killer gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Maximus gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). DJ Maximus!
Our winner, DJ Maximus, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
