Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Konrad Husky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Leo Mylleri!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Husky swings for the body but Mylleri moves out of range.
Konrad Husky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mylleri fails with a takedown attempt.
Mylleri scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Mylleri fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Husky manages to avoid it.
Mylleri lands a jab to the head.
A good leg kick by Husky.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mylleri throws a hook to the side of Husky's head but Husky sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Husky.
Husky throws an overhand right that lands on Mylleri's shoulder, as Mylleri tries to avoid the shot.

Husky lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Mylleri or not.
Mylleri goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Husky has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mylleri is working away from the top position though.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

We've been hearing good reports from Husky's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Mylleri is not content to let Husky control the position.
Husky is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mylleri is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Husky tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Husky has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Husky thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Husky is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Husky manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mylleri manages to get himself to full guard.
