The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Merdeka chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Edwards just misses with a punch to the body.
Edwards misses with a wild body shot.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Merdeka, right into the meat.
Edwards uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Merdeka has time to react.
Edwards swings for the body but Merdeka moves out of range.
Edwards gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Merdeka bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Edwards walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Merdeka cracks Edwards with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Edwards falls to his knees and Merdeka doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
