Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Danil Polovodov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Floue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Danil Polovodov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mario Floue! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Polovodov throws a head kick that misses. Polovodov looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Floue pushes Polovodov off and gets back to his feet. Floue has taken the fight to the clinch.
Polovodov missing with knees to the body.
Floue has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Polovodov regains guard immediately. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Polovodov pulls Floue in close to prevent any damage. Floue pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Polovodov is keeping the position for now. Polovodov trying to control the position here. Polovodov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Floue is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Floue trying to control but Polovodov is working from the bottom. Polovodov wants to sweep here but Floue controlling him for the moment. Floue looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Floue trying to control the position from guard on top but Polovodov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Polovodov looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Floue! Floue explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Polovodov has Floue up against the cage in a clinch.
Polovodov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Polovodov tries for a takedown but Floue circles away easily and Floue counters by clinching up. Polovodov tries to break the clinch but Floue is controlling the position. Floue pulls guard. Polovodov drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Floue dives on top into guard. Floue content to stall in guard here. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Floue throws a big elbow that misses. Polovodov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Floue's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Floue wants to control from the top but Polovodov keeps moving. Floue controlling from the top position. Polovodov is striking off his back. Floue thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Polovodov manages to get to full guard.
Floue passes Polovodov's right leg, so he's now in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mario Floue dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Floue shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Polovodov as he jumps to the side. Floue closes the distance looking to clinch and Polovodov counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Polovodov throws a body shot but no joy. Floue tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Polovodov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Polovodov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Floue has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Floue fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Polovodov avoids it really well and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Polovodov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Polovodov lands in his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Polovodov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Floue is keeping the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Floue throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Floue is trying to control the position but Polovodov postures up. Floue is adopting a defensive guard. Polovodov has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Floue keeping moving, preventing Polovodov from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Floue is on top in guard.
Floue prevents Polovodov from getting back to his feet. Polovodov looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Floue puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Floue lands a nice short elbow. Polovodov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Floue trying to control the action but Polovodov is working from the bottom. Floue tries to stand and escape but Polovodov is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Polovodov is trying to maintain the position but Floue is very close to passing his half guard. Floue seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Polovodov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Floue feints and as Polovodov raises his hands in defense, Floue changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Floue decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Polovodov, up you get! Floue rushes Polovodov and presses him up against the cage. Floue just leaning against Polovodov, taking a breather. Polovodov has Floue pressed against the cage, preventing Floue from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Polovodov breaks the clinch.
Floue moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Floue looks to throw the jab but Polovodov is out of range. Floue moves into range and clinches up with Polovodov. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Polovodov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A punch combination from Floue misses. Floue displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Polovodov. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Mario Floue will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Polovodov dives in and scores a takedown into Floue's guard. Polovodov trying to control but Floue is working from the bottom. Polovodov content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Polovodov won't allow Floue to sweep him here. Polovodov's corner is telling him to maintain position. Floue is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Polovodov looking to pass the guard. Floue looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Polovodov wants to clinch so Floue counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Floue throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Polovodov works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Floue engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Floue postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Floue is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Floue is continuing to stall. Polovodov controls Floue momentarily but Floue frees himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Floue pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Polovodov is keeping the position for now.

Polovodov seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Polovodov throws a head kick but Floue moves out of range.
Polovodov shoots for a double leg takedown but Floue sprawls well. He's pushed Polovodov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Polovodov tries to sprawl but Floue drives through with a takedown into half guard. Floue is thwarting Polovodov's attempts to control the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Floue looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
And that's the end of the fight! Mario Floue comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Floue winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
