Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elliot Stabler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Brady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stabler comes to the cage accompanied by Grown Men Don't Cry. Elliot Stabler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 26 - 0, fighting out of New York, Elliot Stabler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Brady! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Joseph Jones and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brady missing with a left hand there. Stabler was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Brady has Stabler up against the cage in a clinch.
Stabler is trying to trip Brady. He has hold of a leg but Brady is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Stabler persists though and gets the takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Brady has his foot on Stabler's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stabler works his way back into a safe position though. Brady is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Stabler is aware though and is defending well. Stabler trying to control the position from guard on top but Brady is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brady is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stabler won't allow Brady to get back to his feet. Brady is trying to keep Stabler in close.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brady had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Stabler defends it easily. Stabler trying to control but Brady is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brady trying to keep a closed guard but Stabler is proving a slippery customer.
Stabler got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brady has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stabler has managed to get both his arms back between Brady's legs - danger averted. Stabler thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Stabler scoring with punches to the head and body. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brady escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stabler gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Stabler scoring with punches to the head and body. Stabler sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Brady's guard. Brady is trying to get back to full guard. Stabler scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Stabler is pressing down on Brady's thigh, looking to free his foot. Brady is holding on for now. Stabler wants to control but Brady is keeping him busy. Stabler is taking a breather. Brady says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Brady works his way to full guard. Good work. Brady has momentary wrist control but Stabler slips an elbow through the middle. Brady lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Brady chips away with some ground and pound. Brady trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stabler striking from his own guard. Brady throwing strikes from guard but Stabler blocks nicely. Stabler is controlling Brady's posture. Brady working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Stabler is trying to keep Brady in close.
Stabler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Brady wants to control from the top but Stabler keeps moving. Brady lands a couple of decent looking shots.
It looks like Elliot Stabler has been cut. Brady stops Stabler from standing up. Stabler tries to strike from the bottom.
Brady must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Stabler looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Brady content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Stabler looking to control.
Stabler will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Brady chips away with some ground and pound. Brady advances position into side control! Stabler is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Brady is controlling him well. Brady swings around for an armbar but Stabler sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Brady's guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Brady utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stabler accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Brady has his foot on Stabler's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stabler works his way back into a safe position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Elliot Stabler will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Elliot Stabler's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Stabler fails with the takedown and Brady counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Stabler looks for a takedown but Brady sprawls well. Brady lands with a straight right. Stabler didn't see that one coming. Brady fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Brady shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stabler sprawls well. Stabler wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brady gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brady is looking to clinch but Stabler is avoiding it.
Stabler shoots for a double leg takedown but Brady sprawls well. He's pushed Stabler's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Elliot Stabler. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stabler changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brady tries to avoid it but Stabler manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brady to the ground. Brady escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Brady drives through and clinches with Stabler against the cage.

Stabler tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brady sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stabler somewhat. Brady keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Brady defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Stabler. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stabler closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Elliot Stabler overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Brady is looking to control Stabler's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Brady avoid being mounted? Brady is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Stabler pulls his head out easily. That's two minutes gone in the round. Brady is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Stabler jumps into side control! Stabler landing a few strikes. Brady tries to get back to half guard but can't. Stabler is looking to take a break and control but Brady is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Brady gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Stabler seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Stabler slips a nice elbow through Brady's hands, connecting with Brady's forehead. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stabler looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Stabler misses with a takedown and Brady counters with a lovely straight right hand! Elliot Stabler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stabler dives in for a single leg takedown but Brady sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Stabler shoots in but no luck this time. Stabler closes this distance looking for a takedown but Brady circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brady misses with an uppercut. Stabler saw that one coming. Stabler fails with a takedown attempt. Stabler throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Brady. Stabler has his takedown stuffed and Brady counters with a straight right hand.
Elliot Stabler's cut is getting worse. Brady throws a nice looking combination but Stabler bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Brady gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Brady with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Brady tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Stabler's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Brady misses with the combination.
Stabler takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Brady showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Elliot Stabler's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!
Stabler fails to land the takedown. Stabler throws a head kick that misses. It seemed like Brady was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Brady throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stabler sees it coming and avoids it easily. Brady has managed to clinch.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Brady trying to control but Stabler is working from the bottom. Brady drops back looking for a leg! Stabler is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stabler manages to kick Brady off! Brady jumps back into Stabler's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! John Brady comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Brady has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
