The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kelly misses with a wild body shot. Kelly fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Kelly looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Kelly scores with a jab to the body. Kelly jabbing away but nothing is landing. Singh uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kelly. Singh wants to counter with a clinch but Kelly pushes him away. Kelly throws a shot from downtown. Singh moves away and avoids it. Singh now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Singh rushes Kelly and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Singh swings wildly with an uppercut but Kelly uses good head movement to avoid it. Kelly lands with a light punch inside. Kelly can't break the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kelly lands a right hand. Kelly blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

That's one minute gone in the round. Singh lands a jab. Singh is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Kelly is trying to push Singh away but Singh has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere. Singh tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Singh looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. A head punch on the inside from Kelly fails to land. Singh keeps control of Kelly as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Singh lands with a short shot to the head. A short left from Singh. Kelly working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A nice right hand lands inside from Singh.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Singh lands a nice uppercut. Singh lands on the inside with an uppercut. Kelly swings wildly with an uppercut but Singh uses good head movement to avoid it. Singh working aggressively here.
Kelly is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Singh's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Singh makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Singh scores with a nice hook to the head.
It looks like Luther Kelly has been cut. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Kelly wants to break free but Singh has control.

Kelly tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Singh's elbow. Kelly digs a right hand into Singh's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Singh's gas tank. Kelly has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Singh throws a head punch that misses. A shot in the inside from Kelly. Kelly's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Singh throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kellys head. Singh misses with a short punch on the inside. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Singh. Singh keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kelly's efforts to push away. Singh works on Kelly's body with a couple of short punches. Singh lands a right hand. Kelly is looking to break free of the clinch but Singh has double underhooks. Kelly lands with a light punch inside.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Kelly cracks Singh with a nice body shot. Kelly takes a shot to the head. Singh gets through Kelly's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Singh scores with a shoulder strike. Singh prevents Kelly from breaking the clinch. Singh pushes Kelly back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch. Kelly is breathing heavily. With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Singh creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Singh blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Kelly is rocked! Singh makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Oh Kelly is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Singh lands with a right to the head. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Singh lands a left hand that snaps the head of Kelly backwards. A right hook to the body lands for Singh.

Bhagat Singh dominated that round. The cut man is working on Luther Kelly's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Kelly walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Kelly is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!
