Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dan Stepniewski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Goat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Goat's choice of entrance music: The Champ is here. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Stepniewski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, The Goat! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Goat feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stepniewski's calf. Stepniewski shoots in for a takedown but Goat shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Stepniewski fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Stepniewski tries to score a power double leg takedown but Goat sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stepniewski somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Stepniewski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Goat stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Stepniewski's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Goat connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Stepniewski scrambles back to his feet. Goat slaps away a takedown attempt from Stepniewski, before circling back to the center of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Goat jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Stepniewski has his takedown stuffed and Goat counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Goat lands a nice shot that snaps Stepniewski's head back.
Nice takedown defense from Goat. No joy for Stepniewski on that attempt. Stepniewski is breathing heavily. Stepniewski slips a jab and a cross from Goat.
Goat lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Horrible takedown attempt by Stepniewski or perhaps it was just good defense by Goat, which made it look bad. Goat lands a nice shot to the body.
Stepniewski takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Goat lands a leg kick that knocks Stepniewski off balance momentarily. Stepniewski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Goat scores with a jab to the head.
Goat thuds a left hand into Stepniewski's body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Goat scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Goat scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Goat cracks Stepniewski with a right hand to the side of the head. Stepniewski drops his hands momentarily and Goat takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Stepniewski is rocked! Stepniewski walks forward, straight into a front kick from Goat. Oh Stepniewski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Goat pounces like a tiger and cracks Stepniewski with a vicious hook! Stepniewski is down but not out! Goat follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). The Goat! An out of breath The Goat thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
