Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Bruce Luis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Basil Hastings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hastings has chosen React - Not today as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hastings throws a push kick but Luis slaps the foot to one side.
Luis just misses with a punch to the body.
Hastings doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Luis takes one to the side of the head.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Hastings. Luis shrugs it off though.
Hastings goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
A decent looking cross lands there for Hastings.
Hastings steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Luis.
Luis keeps the fight on the outside.
Luis tries to clinch but Hastings moves out of range.
Hastings lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Luis throws a low kick but Hastings avoids it.
A nice inside leg kick there by Hastings. That's going to slow Luis down.
Luis throws a lazy body kick
and Hastings counters with a leg kick.
Luis throws a hook but Hastings avoids it easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hastings lands a nice shot that snaps Luis's head back.
Basil Hastings seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Luis gets a clinch.
Luis blocking some punches.
Luis can't find room to land a body shot as Hastings controls the action.
I was talking to Luis's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Hastings lands a hook that snaps the head of Luis backwards.
Hastings lands with a short shot to the head.
Luis struggles to land a body shot inside as Hastings controls his hands.
Hastings stalling in the clinch but Luis improves position.
Hastings throws a punch but it's blocked by Luis.
Hastings avoids a wild elbow strike from Luis.
Hastings is looking to break free of the clinch but Luis has double underhooks.
Luis tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hastings's elbow.
Hastings lands a left hand that snaps the head of Luis backwards.
Hastings told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Luis comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Hastings tries to break free but Luis pushes him back against the ropes.
With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Luis just misses with a elbow thrown towards Hastings's brow.
Hastings manages to break the clinch.
Luis moves into the clinch.
Hastings lands on the inside with an uppercut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hastings breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hastings lands a body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Luis misses with a hook
and Hastings counters with a straight right hand.
Luis is rocked!
Hastings catches Luis napping and cracks him with a perfect head kick! Luis goes down! He's bigtime hurt! He's not going to make it back to his feet - the referee has called it off! This one is all over!
