Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Donnie Darko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfed Arkes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darko looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Darko shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Darko was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Darko tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Darko has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Darko thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Darko is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Arkes is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Darko goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Arkes has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Darko but great work by Arkes.

This one could be over very soon! Arkes goes limp - he's gone! Darko jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
