Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blanco Rosso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bernie Patat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Blanco Rosso! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bernie Patat! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patat misses with a straight right. Patat throws out a leg kick but Rosso moves out of range and Patat only half commits. Rosso is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Patat. Rosso fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Rosso checks a leg kick nicely. Rosso was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Rosso blocks the body kick.
Patat attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Patat has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Rosso is landing a low percentage of strikes. Rosso shoots in but Patat avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rosso scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
