Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lanny Gardner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Bennett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Ryan Bennett enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lanny Gardner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Bennett!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Bennett. Gardner does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gardner goes for a double leg but Bennett avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bennett continues to drive forward.
Bennett is looking for the big counter here.
Bennett fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Bennett closes the distance and pushes Gardner back into the cage.

Well Bennett has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
