1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel Kingston! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dragomir Barbu! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jonathan Paton and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A decent looking body kick lands there for Barbu. Barbu lands a head kick!
It looks like Daniel Kingston has been cut. Barbu throws a nice head kick!
Kingston closes this distance looking for a takedown but Barbu circles away. Barbu thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kingston if he has to take too many more of those.
Kingston on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Barbu connects with a solid leg kick. We've been informed that Barbu has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Kingston has taken the fight to the clinch.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Barbu. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kingston makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Barbu is struggling to control the position. Kingston tries to stall but Barbu uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Barbu obliges.

Barbu unloads a knee to the mid-section. Kingston lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Barbu utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Barbu slowing the pace effectively. Kingston throws a punch but it's blocked by Barbu. Barbu putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Kingston in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Kingston is breathing heavily. Kingston is looking to control Barbu's arms but Barbu gets an underhook and turns him. Now Kingston has his back to the cage. Barbu lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Kingston is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Barbu lands a knee to the body.
Oh Kingston is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kingston takes a knee right on the jaw!

Kingston crumples up against the cage and Barbu lands two more shots before the ref can save Kingston! This one is all over!

Dragomir Barbu decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
