Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wesley Denson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and All American (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Denson comes into the arena with The good the bad and the ugly blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
American defending well as Denson loads up on a big left hand.
All American seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab from American misses.
Denson stuffs the takedown attempt from American. American gets slowly back to his feet.
No luck for American with that takedown attempt.

American scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
American is trying to ground and pound but Denson uses the momentary lack of control by American to regain half guard.
Denson is trying to stand back up but American is controlling him
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
American thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
American prevents Denson from standing back up.
Denson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

American landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
American lands with a punch from half guard.
Denson blocking the ground and pound attempt from American.
American misses with a head shot. Denson uses the momentum to regain guard.
American working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Denson's head.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as American accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
American postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
American postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
American's corner is telling him to maintain position.
American is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Denson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
American cracks Denson with a solid left hand.

Denson manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Denson wants to break the clinch but can't.
Denson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Denson wants to break free but American has control.
American jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Denson walks away with a smile on his face. American gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Wesley Denson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of All American.
Denson misses with a two punch combination.
American fails with an attempt to clinch.
Denson throws a head kick but American moves out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Denson bucks up and tries to throw American off but instead American has got his back!

American is landing with strikes from the back.
American is scoring with a succession of shots from the back. Denson is covering up - he's had enough and the ref steps in to end the fight!
