Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kingsley Babajide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blaster Monocastor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kingsley Babajide! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Blaster Monocastor! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Babajide keeps control of Monocastor as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Babajide makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Monocastor working aggressively here.
Babajide looking for a takedown. Babajide blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Monocastor throws a head punch that misses. Babajide stalls. Monocastor's coach down at The Bear's Den was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Monocastor's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Monocastor stalling in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee calls for Babajide to work.

That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters working to control the clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Babajide. Babajide lands a right hand. A quick uppercut on the inside from Babajide. Babajide struggles to land a body shot inside as Monocastor controls his hands.
Babajide definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Babajide misses with a punch on the inside.

Monocastor is trying to break the clinch but Babajide is controlling him. Monocastor throws a punch but it's blocked by Babajide. A head punch blocked on the inside by Babajide. Babajide tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Babajide lands a nice uppercut. Babajide has Monocastor pressed against the cage, preventing Monocastor from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Monocastor misses with a short punch on the inside. Babajide working aggressively here.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Monocastor should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Babajide struggles to land a body shot inside as Monocastor controls his hands.

A nice inside leg kick there by Monocastor. That's going to slow Babajide down. Babajide gets in close and instigates a clinch. Monocastor is trying to break the clinch but Babajide is controlling him. Monocastor tries to circle away but Babajide has him pinned against the cage. Babajide has Monocastor pressed against the cage, preventing Monocastor from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Babajide goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Monocastor wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Babajide has him pressed against the cage. Monocastor misses with some punches.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Babajide successfully pulls guard.
Babajide wants to sweep but no luck. Monocastor stays in close to Babajide's body and controls the position. Monocastor won't allow Babajide to sweep him here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Babajide trying to keep a closed guard but Monocastor is proving a slippery customer.
Babajide wants to hit a switch here but Monocastor passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Babajide there! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kingsley Babajide dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Babajide has Monocastor up against the cage in a clinch.
Babajide has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Monocastor uses from the top position. Babajide lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Babajide is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Babajide pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Monocastor is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Babajide slips nicely into half guard. Babajide is trying to control the action in half guard but Monocastor is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Babajide wants to free his trapped foot but Monocastor is holding on for dear life with his legs. Babajide is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Babajide is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Babajide trying to pass the guard but Monocastor defending well. Babajide is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Monocastor is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
