Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Noah Gundersen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Alan Phillpott! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Phillpott throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gundersen's waist but Gundersen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Phillpott off to one side. Phillpott fails with the takedown and Phillpott takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Gundersen lands with a hook. Phillpott tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Phillpott fails with the takedown and Phillpott takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Noah Gundersen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alan Phillpott. The fight stays on the outside here - Phillpott looks like he's thinking about clinching though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Phillpott fails miserably with a takedown attempt. It looked like Gundersen was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Phillpott. Phillpott has a takedown stuffed.
That's one minute gone in the round. Phillpott moves into the clinch. Phillpott's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Phillpott throws a chopping leg kick but Gundersen manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Phillpott looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Gundersen lands with a right hand.
It looks like Alan Phillpott has been cut. Phillpott fails with the takedown and Gundersen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Oooooh!!! Gundersen has knocked Phillpott down with a huge combo! Gundersen steps away and waves a wobbly Phillpott back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Phillpott is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Phillpott tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gundersen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Phillpott is still on wobbly legs! Can Gundersen finish him? Noah Gundersen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gundersen lands a nice looking body shot.

Phillpott looks winded! Gundersen sends Phillpott crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Gundersen is motioning to the referee to let Phillpott up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Gundersen drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Phillpott right on the button. Phillpott goes down! Gundersen follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Gundersen gets the win via TKO!
