The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Campion misses with a few strikes there.
Campion throws a nice looking combination but Vale bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Campion misses with a body shot.
Vale avoids a punch combination nicely.
Vale scores with a sloppy right hand. Campion should have avoided that one.
It looks like Gregory Campion has been cut.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Vale goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
We've been hearing reports that Campion has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Simon Vale!
Simon Vale took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti. Amen'.
Gregory Campion spoke after the fight, saying 'Congratulations to my opponent. He was the better man today. Now I go back to training to make sure that I'm the better man tomorrow. Thanks to the fans for all of their support.'.
