The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chestnar shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hoodwell as he avoids it easily.
Hoodwell misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Chestnar moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like KJ Hoodwell has been cut.
Chestnar scores with a takedown into Hoodwell's guard.
Hoodwell has his foot on Chestnar's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chestnar works his way back into a safe position though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hoodwell is trying to keep Chestnar in close.
Hoodwell looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Chestnar is defending well. Hoodwell quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Chestnar has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Hoodwell celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.
