The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sol takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Sol throws a solid leg kick but Fresh takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Sol.
It appears Fresh was looking to counter with a kick there.
Sol has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Fresh.
Fresh looks to land a left hand but Sol moved out of range nicely.
Sol replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Fresh blocks it well.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Fresh.
Sol misses with a head kick.
Fresh thows a left - swing and a miss!
Fresh wants to clinch up but Sol keeps it at a distance.
Sol displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fresh throws out the jab.

Good leg kick by Fresh there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sol unleashes a big counter combination but Fresh bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Sol buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Sol fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Fresh on the side of the head.

Fresh's legs have taken a beating and he's really slowing down as a result.

Sol ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fresh moves away.
Fresh seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Sol pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fresh fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sol throws a head kick that misses.
Fresh is looking to counter with a body kick.
Sol throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sol takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Sol bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Sol ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Fresh closes the distance and pushes Sol back into the ropes.

Sol breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fresh misses with an uppercut. Sol saw that one coming.
Sol walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Fresh checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Fresh scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Fresh wants to clinch up but Sol keeps it at a distance.

Sol bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Fresh's head.
Fresh just misses with a punch to the body.
Fresh avoids the head kick by Sol.
Fresh misses with a double jab.
Sol replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Fresh blocks it well.
Fresh throws a head kick but Sol moves out of range.
Sol misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Fresh lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Fresh.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Sol moves into the clinch.
Fresh is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Sol's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Fresh tries to stall but Sol uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

A frustrated look appears on Fresh's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Sol with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Fresh could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Fresh misses with some punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Ra Sol will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Fresh scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sol doesn't seem bothered though.

Sol lands a head kick. Fresh smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like AJ Fresh has been cut.
AJ Fresh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slapping body kick lands there for Sol.

Sol lands a front kick to the face, that drops Fresh to the canvas! Is he dazed or just shocked? He's back to his feet and the referee is going to allow him to continue the fight!
