PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Denver Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ty Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Denver Morris has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Denver Morris seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Denver Morris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ty Parker!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parker moves into range and clinches up with Morris.

Morris shoots in looking for a takedown but Parker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Morris's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A punch lands to the side of Morris 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Parker gets control of Morris's arms and successfully pulls guard. Parker will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

A quick step to the side and Morris tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Morris throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Parker escapes and throws Morris's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Morris slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Morris thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Parker's head.
Morris wants to take a breather but Parker is having none of it.

Parker closes the distance and pushes Morris back into the cage.

Ty Parker is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Morris is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Parker defends well.
Denver Morris has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well Parker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
