Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rollo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Jiu Jitsu: Apaga Mas Não Bate. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rollo Gracie! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Carlos Rodriguez ! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie throws a leg kick that misses. Rodriguez blocks a leg kick. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Gracie. Rodriguez misses with a takedown attempt and Gracie holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Rodriguez breaks the clinch.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Rodriguez drags the fight down to the ground.
Rodriguez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gracie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracie looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Rodriguez can't keep his opponent in guard - Gracie advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Rodriguez looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie is trying to work for a kimura but Rodriguez is defending well.
Rodriguez is not content to let Gracie control the position. Rodriguez slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Rodriguez controls Gracie momentarily but Gracie frees himself. Gracie trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Gracie wants to control from the top but Rodriguez keeps moving. Gracie advances to half guard. Gracie prevents Rodriguez from improving his position. Gracie is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Gracie is figuring out what he wants to do next. Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rodriguez keeps working. Gracie performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Rodriguez tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Rodriguez reverses the position - he's now on top in Gracie's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rodriguez postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Gracie controls Rodriguez momentarily but Rodriguez frees himself. Rodriguez stands and throws Gracie's legs to the side, diving into side control. Gracie manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Gracie keeping hold of Rodriguez 's head, controlling as best he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rodriguez not landing any meaningful shots this time. Gracie trying to control here.
Rodriguez trying to control the pace. Rodriguez trying to control the action but Gracie is working from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rodriguez is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Gracie sees it coming and defends easily. Gracie is looking to get back to full guard here but Rodriguez has managed to pass to side control instead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Carlos Rodriguez will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Rodriguez shoots in and drives through. Gracie sprawls well. Rodriguez fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Rodriguez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gracie is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rodriguez . Rollo Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlos Rodriguez . Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown. Rodriguez tries to sprawl out of it but Gracie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rodriguez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rodriguez misses with a double jab
and Gracie counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Rodriguez ! Gracie tries to move to mount but Rodriguez blocks the move with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rodriguez wants to control the position but that's not easy when your opponent is in side control! Gracie seems to be going for some sort of submission here. Hard to say what - oh, it's a Brabo choke! He's got it! Rodriguez is tapping! Wow, great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Brabo Choke). Rollo Gracie! Rollo Gracie retains his featherweight title! Rollo Gracie decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
