Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between PP Petelius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Jericho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petelius comes to the cage accompanied by Nalle Lehtonen. Jericho has chosen Dropkick Murphys - Warriors Code as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Petelius as Jericho shoots in.
Jericho looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Let's hope that Jericho has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Jericho wants to pass the guard but Petelius is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Petelius escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jericho gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Petelius utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Jericho drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jericho jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jericho wants to pass the guard but Petelius is keeping the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Petelius drives through and clinches with Jericho against the cage.
Jericho prevents a takedown attempt there.
Petelius tries for a takedown. No joy.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Jericho has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Petelius is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
PP Petelius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricky Jericho.
Petelius jumps guard and drags Jericho to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Jericho thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
