The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kongo checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
A punch combination from Belfort misses.
Belfort throws a chopping leg kick but Kongo manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

It looks like Blade Kongo has been cut.

Belfort rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kongo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Kongo moves to back control.
Kongo is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Belfort has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Kongo has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Belfort taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Kongo doesn't care though - he's delighted!
