The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pelle connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Li with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pelle to score with a decent uppercut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Li.
Pelle displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Li.
Li fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Amis Pelle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Li.
Li has his takedown stuffed
and Pelle counters with a crisp one two that drops Li! Pelle thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Li to his feet! Li is in big trouble!
Li is rocked!
Pelle cracks Li's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Li slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Pelle can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Amis Pelle spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
