The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ki Ki misses with the combination.
Morales will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Morales tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ki Ki swivels and escapes.

Ki Ki throws a right hand that Morales ducks under and follows up with a left that Morales also avoids with ease.
Ki Ki throws a leg kick but Morales sees it coming and checks it nicely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ki Ki moves in looking to clinch but Morales pushes him off.

Morales tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ki Ki defends well and Morales ends up having to push Ki Ki into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Kim Ki Ki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Morales's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ki Ki feints with a jab and clips Morales right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Morales is sent crashing into the canvas and Ki Ki leaps in for the kill! Morales tries to get to his feet but Ki Ki is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Morales is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kim Ki Ki!
A pretty intense looking Kim Ki Ki took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
