Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sir Mixalot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muen Gnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mixalot comes to the cage accompanied by Baby Got Back. Muen Gnar will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sir Mixalot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Muen Gnar! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Columbo Gatti and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mixalot scores with a takedown into Gnar's guard. Gnar seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Mixalot is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Mixalot thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Mixalot is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mixalot wants to pass the guard but Gnar is keeping the position. Mixalot advances position into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Gnar trying to remain calm as Mixalot controls from the top position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gnar can do anything to dispel that myth. Mixalot tries to move to mount but Gnar blocks the move with his legs. Mixalot controls the position. Mixalot trying to control the position but Gnar is working away. Mixalot tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Mixalot wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gnar keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mixalot moves into full mount! Mixalot is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Gnar has managed to escape the submission attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Mixalot looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mixalot content just to control the position here. Mixalot fails to take his opponent's back. Mixalot looking for a guillotine from mount but Gnar is having none of it. Mixalot sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gnar defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Mixalot. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mixalot controlling the position easily from mount. Mixalot looking for a guillotine from mount but Gnar is having none of it. Mixalot wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mixalot wants to control the pace but Gnar is squirming around nicely. Mixalot wants to take Gnar's back but he can't do it this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sir Mixalot dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Gnar jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Sir Mixalot has been cut. Gnar has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Gnar shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Gnar misses with an uppercut. Mixalot saw that one coming. An attempted straight right counter from Mixalot misses the target. Mixalot displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Gnar misses with a low kick.
Mixalot dives in and grabs Gnar's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gnar pushes down on Mixalot's head and hops out. Mixalot is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gnar sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Mixalot on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Mixalot is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gnar can do to turn this around? We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gnar throws a leg kick that misses. Mixalot has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mixalot there as he acknowledges the shot. Gnar connects with a single shot there. Mixalot misses with a few strikes there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gnar lands a jab to the head.
Gnar throws a leg kick but Mixalot sees it coming and moves out of range. Mixalot swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
so Gnar counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Mixalot controls Gnar momentarily but Gnar frees himself. Gnar wants to control from the top but Mixalot keeps moving. Mixalot keeping full guard, as Gnar tries to pass. Mixalot is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Gnar rolls with it to try and escape but Mixalot cranks on the arm and Gnar is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Sir Mixalot! Sir Mixalot gave a mention to KAISER in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
