Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sean McConnor!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Damien Thorn!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Darius Henderson and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorn slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
McConnor dives in and grabs Thorn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Thorn pushes down on McConnor's head and hops out.
McConnor's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Thorn connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! McConnor scrambles back to his feet.
Thorn connects with an inside leg kick.
A decent looking cross lands there for Thorn.
Thorn scoring well with a low kick there.
Thorn feints with a jab and clips McConnor right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! McConnor is sent crashing into the canvas and Thorn leaps in for the kill! McConnor tries to get to his feet but Thorn is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that McConnor is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Damien Thorn!

Damien Thorn took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'My destiny has become reality now all that is left is to consume the souls of the doubters. The omen has spoken'.
