Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sanford Fanning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Busta Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black has chosen Ready or Not as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Franklyn Lucas and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Fanning eats them both and turns towards Black to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Black has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Fanning is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Donk. Black catches Fanning right on the button with a cross.
Black fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fanning sprawls well initially but Black persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Black seems to be looking for submissions.
Black is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Fanning doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Black.
Fanning tries to kick Black off but Black keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Black is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fanning defends it well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fanning is squirming around, avoiding Black's attempts to control the action.
Black goes for an armbar but Fanning turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Fanning.

Black is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Black is on top in guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Fanning misses with an attempted mid kick.
Black closes the distance and clinches up with Fanning, looking for a takedown. Black pushes Fanning against the cage but Fanning circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Black clobbers Fanning with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Fanning lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
It looks like Busta Black has been cut.
Black swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fanning half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Black.
Fanning fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Black throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Fanning tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Black is in Fanning's guard.
Black stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fanning swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Busta Black has got the better of the ground game so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fanning has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Black is looking to pass into half guard but Fanning pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Fanning is in guard.

Black working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fanning doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fanning manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fanning got a little sloppy there for a moment and Black has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fanning has managed to get both his arms back between Black's legs - danger averted.

Sanford Fanning has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Busta Black.
A looping hook to the body misses from Black. Fanning does a little dance to reset his feet.
Black stuns Fanning with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Fanning. No joy for Black on that attempt.
Fanning fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Black.

Busta Black is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Black uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fanning.
Fanning bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Fanning rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Black moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Fanning throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Black.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Black cracks Fanning with an open hand slap.

Black loads up on a big right hand but Fanning slips the punch.
Black swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Black fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Fanning drops down looking for a counter takedown but Black sprawls and moves away.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Fanning! Black is out on his feet! Fanning rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Black is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Black is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sanford Fanning!
