Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner blocks a head kick by Poffo.
Poffo has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Turner is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Turner thows a leg kick but Poffo checks it
and Poffo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Mack Turner has been cut.
A clash of legs there as Turner blocks the low kick.
Poffo lands a jab.
Poffo misses with a straight right.
Poffo throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Turner keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Poffo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Turner doesn't seem bothered though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
