Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brain Joyce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lambis Kobelikos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lambis Kobelikos looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Joyce closes the distance and clinches.
Kobelikos looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Kobelikos has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Kobelikos pulls guard effortlessly.
Joyce throws a big right hand that misses.

Joyce gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Kobelikos looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Kobelikos shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Joyce sprawls well. Joyce wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kobelikos gets slowly back to his feet.

Joyce bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kobelikos's guard.

Joyce has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Joyce gets to his feet. Kobelikos looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Joyce is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Kobelikos can't fight it off and eventually Joyce manages to take the fight to the floor. Kobelikos looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Joyce has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kobelikos lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Joyce has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Joyce and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
