Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Vegas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vegas comes to the cage accompanied by Ace Of Spades by Motorhead. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ronald Griffin! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Chad Campbell and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Griffin shoots in for a takedown but Vegas shows good takedown defense. Griffin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vegas's waist but Vegas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Griffin off to one side. Griffin looks for a takedown but Vegas sprawls well. Johnny Vegas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronald Griffin. Griffin goes for a double leg but Vegas avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Vegas continues to drive forward. Vegas throws a jab when Griffin was well out of range. Griffin tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Vegas works over Griffin's head and body with a nice combination. Johnny Vegas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vegas connects with a high kick. Griffin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Vegas defends it nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Griffin manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Vegas on his heels. He'll look to pass Vegas's guard now, I'm sure. Griffin postures up and lands a big shot to Vegas's brow.

Griffin wants to finish this one by submission but Vegas is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Griffin. Griffin scores with a couple of good head shots there.
