Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Francisco Miranda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohsen Darabi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miranda comes to the cage accompanied by Peace Sells.....But Whos Buying. The key to victory for Francisco Miranda has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Francisco Miranda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mohsen Darabi! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Darabi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Darabi struggles to land a body shot inside as Miranda controls his hands.
Darabi gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Miranda tries to get to full guard but Darabi has control of the leg. Darabi lands with a punch from half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miranda regains full guard. Nicely done. Miranda striking off his back but it's not causing Darabi any problems. Darabi seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miranda keeping moving, preventing Darabi from controlling successfully. Miranda seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miranda keeping full guard, as Darabi tries to pass. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Miranda is looking for a triangle but Darabi pushes his legs off easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Darabi wants to pass the guard but Miranda is keeping the position. Miranda looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Darabi postures up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Miranda misses with a takedown attempt and Darabi counters by clinching up. Darabi has Miranda pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Darabi pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Miranda tumbling to the mat - Darabi dives into Miranda's guard. Miranda is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Darabi is aware though and is defending well. Miranda is trying to keep Darabi in close.
Darabi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miranda is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Darabi is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Darabi content to stall in guard here. Miranda keeping moving, preventing Darabi from controlling successfully. Darabi lands a couple of digs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Darabi looking to sit in guard and control but Miranda gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Miranda wants to control from the top but Darabi keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Darabi throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Miranda escapes and throws Darabi's legs to the side, diving into side control! Darabi gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Darabi is looking for a sweep. Miranda is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Miranda is thwarting Darabi's attempts to control the position. Miranda throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mohsen Darabi dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Darabi fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Miranda, pushing him back against the cage. Miranda drags the fight down to the ground.
Miranda had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Darabi defends it easily. Darabi gets to his feet. Miranda looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Miranda swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Darabi clinches with his opponent.
Darabi misses with a short punch on the inside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Darabi manages to break the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Miranda is pressing down on Darabi's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Miranda has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Darabi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Darabi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miranda. Darabi trying to control the position from guard on top but Miranda is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Darabi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Miranda has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Darabi has managed to get both his arms back between Miranda's legs - danger averted. Darabi showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Darabi drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Miranda dives on top into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miranda prevents Darabi from getting back to his feet. Miranda throws a strike but Darabi rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Miranda is looking for a triangle but Darabi pushes his legs off easily.

Darabi landing with the ground and pound. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Darabi lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Darabi stays in close to Miranda's body and controls the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Mohsen Darabi will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Miranda throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Darabi's waist but Darabi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Miranda off to one side. Miranda keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Darabi on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Miranda dives in and grabs Darabi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Darabi pushes down on Miranda's head and hops out. Mohsen Darabi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Miranda fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Francisco Miranda. That's going to take a lot out of him. Miranda cracks Darabi with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Miranda throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Darabi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Miranda is in Darabi's guard. Darabi wants to sweep here but Miranda controlling him for the moment. Miranda is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there. Darabi is adopting a defensive guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Darabi looking to sweep here. No luck so far. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Darabi holds on and takes a little breather. Darabi is looking for a triangle but Miranda pushes his legs off easily.
Darabi tries to land a sweep but no joy. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Darabi keeping moving, preventing Miranda from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Miranda scores with a nice head shot. Miranda lands a head shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miranda scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Darabi closes the distance and pushes Miranda back into the cage. Darabi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Miranda tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Darabi paws at him with a jab and circles away. Darabi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Miranda. Darabi takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Donk. Miranda catches Darabi right on the button with a cross. Miranda displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Miranda gets a double leg takedown into Darabi's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Darabi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Miranda is aware though and is defending well. Darabi has control of Miranda's left arm, preventing Miranda from doing any damage. Darabi looking for a guillotine here but Miranda defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miranda won't allow Darabi to get back to his feet. Darabi lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
