Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevaughn Aldridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evil Nixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Aldridge might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Smooth Criminal By Michael Jackson. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldridge throws a sloppy head kick and Nixon moves out of range easily.
Aldridge on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Nixon throws a shot to the body.
Aldridge stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Nixon.
Nixon scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Nixon throws a push kick but Aldridge slaps the foot to one side.
Nixon lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Aldridge tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Nice straight punches there by Nixon. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Nixon.
Nixon lands an overhand right.
Aldridge throws a lazy head kick
and Nixon counters by clinching up.
Nixon lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

I was talking to Aldridge's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
The referee calls for Nixon to work.

Aldridge pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Aldridge is breathing heavily.
Nixon creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Aldridge with a big uppercut! Aldridge tries to clinch up but Nixon pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Aldridge to the mat! Aldridge covers up and Nixon unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Evil Nixon!
