Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Fioravanti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charly Jimenez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimenez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Matador. Fioravanti has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Charly Jimenez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fioravanti tries to keep at a distance but Jimenez has taken the fight into the clinch.
Fioravanti with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Jimenez lands a knee to the body.

Fioravanti prevents a body shot from Jimenez.
Jimenez lands an elbow that stopped Fioravanti in his tracks for a moment.
Jimenez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jimenez lands a two punch combo.
Fioravanti is breathing heavily.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Jimenez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jimenez lands with a hook. Fioravanti tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jimenez tries a head kick but it misses.
Fioravanti went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Fioravanti misses with a low kick.
Jimenez blocks a low kick nicely.
Jimenez lands a left and a right that send Fioravanti crashing to the mat, dazed. Jimenez thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Fioravanti is rocked!
Look low, kick high! Jimenez uses the oldest trick in the book to send Fioravanti tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Jimenez is absolutely delighted - when Fioravanti wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Charly Jimenez!
In his post fight interview, Charly Jimenez started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
