0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jimmy Jameson! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jameson closes the distance and clinches. Bowers really is a fat lump. Jameson manages to break the clinch.
Jameson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bowers swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jameson swings away with a leg kick that misses. Bowers appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Jameson feints and as Bowers raises his hands in defense, Jameson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Jameson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bowers is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bowers holds on and takes a little breather. Jameson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bowers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bowers keeping full guard, as Jameson tries to pass. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bowers keeping moving, preventing Jameson from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jameson sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jameson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bowers is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jameson, into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jameson trying to keep a closed guard but Bowers is proving a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jameson is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Jameson is looking to stand back up but Bowers counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Jameson. Bowers slows the pace down in half guard. Jameson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bowers is working away from the top position though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bowers fails with a takedown attempt. The fight moves into the clinch position. Bowers is trying to break the clinch but Jameson is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jameson tries to pull guard but Bowers won't allow it.

Bowers is fending him off so far but Jameson persists. Nope, Bowers circles away and we're back to standing. Bowers throws a sloppy head kick and Jameson moves out of range easily. Jameson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jameson showed some decent athleticism there. Bowers is trying to get back to full guard. Jameson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Jameson is trying to work for a kimura but Bowers is defending well.

Bowers is trying to stand up here but Jameson is controlling him well. Jameson misses with a head shot. Bowers uses the momentum to regain guard. Bowers looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Jameson is trying to push Bowers away but Bowers has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Jameson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bowers pulls him back up using the underhooks. Bowers drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jameson misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Jameson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A head kick by Jameson misses and Bowers counters with a three punch combo that has Jameson backing up. Jameson nods at Bowers to acknowledge the strikes. Jameson misses with a takedown and Bowers connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Bowers throws a head kick that misses. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nice takedown defense from Bowers. No joy for Jameson on that attempt. Jameson closes the distance and pushes Bowers back into the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Humberto Bowers will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Bowers has had enough of the clinch but Jameson keeps him there for the moment. Bowers lands a right hand. Bowers manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Bowers pushes Jameson off and gets back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bowers fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jameson avoids it really well and circles away.
