The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Tatum.
Castillo tries to clinch up.
Tatum plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
It looks like Joe Castillo has been cut.
Castillo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tatum fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Castillo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Castillo tries to bum rush Tatum with a series of wild strikes but Tatum uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Castillo throws a head kick that misses
enabling Tatum to counter with a crisp jab.
Tatum uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Castillo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Tatum counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That has opened up Joe Castillo's cut even more.
Tatum tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Castillo was well out of range. Poor timing from Tatum.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tatum throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Tatum lands a nice looking body kick.
Tatum is looking to wear down Castillo with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Castillo looks winded!
Castillo ducks right into an uppercut from Tatum.
The cut above Joe Castillo's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Tatum cracks a nice hook into Castillo's ribs.

Castillo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Tatum scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Tatum scores with a jab to the body.
Tatum lands a big right hand that sends Castillo crashing to the mat! Tatum stays standing though and waves Castillo back to his feet!
Kelvin Tatum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
BOOM! Tatum lands a beautiful left hook that drops Castillo. Castillo tries to recover but Tatum is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Castillo lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kelvin Tatum!
Kelvin Tatum decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
